About the role:

We are seeking a Field Service Manager with previous lighting and electrical experience to oversee lighting maintenance and service of regional and national accounts ensuring that their facilities are promptly repaired, maintained and serviced so that they are fully functioning efficiently and effectively.

Essential Duties and responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of the field service department including service calls, quotations, labor and material requirements, and invoicing/billing

Manage and lead team of field service project coordinators

Manage a dispatch department to efficiently schedule clients service requirements

Negotiate and maintain terms and pricing with sub-contractors

Maintain complete knowledge of the status of all projects and report issues to Division Manager

Monitor overall quantity and quality of service personnel and sub-contractor work performed

Timely review of all time cards

Ensure invoicing is done in an accurate, efficient and timely manner

Maximize service revenue/profitability

Minimize unproductive field time

Review progress with Division Manager

Skills and Abilities:

Able to meet deadlines and work within budgets

Impeccable organization abilities

Advanced experience with spreadsheets

Expert at scheduling

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to be self-motivating, proactive and an effective team player

This position is integral in helping to build and strengthen relationships with our customers and in keeping their brand and image in a good light.
