Project Manager (Energy Efficiency)

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who will take full ownership of managing assigned key client accounts and projects with the goal of delivering every project on time, within budget and within scope.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Developing detailed project plans to monitor and track progress of energy efficiency projects
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation
  • Successfully managing the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Creating and managing job budgets, proposals, and quotations for potential and existing customers
  • Learning and researching new and existing products we provide
  • Managing and monitoring project coordinators
  • Coordinating with contractors, architects, utility companies, and retail customers
  • Managing existing projects, communicating and collaborating directly with customers, contractors, rebate department, and sales reps as required
  • Managing changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
  • Order entry for sales and purchase orders, scheduling, tracking and coordination of material deliveries and installations
  • Measuring project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Performing risk management to minimize project risks
  • Reading and managing plans and fixture schedules
  • Assisting in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ Years Project Management Experience or PMP Certification (preferred, not required)
  • Relevant office/administrative/management experience
  • Able to perform at a high level in a fast paced environment while managing multiple projects at different stages of completion
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere and to collaborate on continuous improvement efforts
  • Attention to detail and organization skills are crucial
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
