HR Lead Responsibilities and Duties

An HR lead is responsible for any planning regarding the human resources and development of a company’s workforce, and they must be able to transform all policies into executable plans and departmental procedures. Some of their daily responsibilities include:

  • Supervising all HR activities, communications, reports, requests and documents created and received by the team
  • Overseeing exit interviews and procedures
  • Generating official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips and warning letters
  • Creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations
  • Maintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records
  • Collaborating with upper management and employees to maintain CSR standards conscripted by authorities
  • Integral with employee communications
  • Expressing appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addressing employee grievances
  • Maintain proper records of employee attendance and leaves (system admin)
  • Assist Management in policy formulation, hiring and salary administration
  • Submit online job postings, shortlist candidates and schedule job interviews
  • Coordinate orientation and training sessions for new employees
  • Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries
  • Integral on team events planning and team communications.
